Raquel is a mixed chick living in Columbus, Ohio. She is the author of two self-published collections, Keep Me Wild and This Woman is Still Girl. She is also featured in the poetry compilations, Crown Anthology and [Dis]Connected Volume 2: Poems & Stories of Connection and Otherwise. Her work has also been featured in Harness Magazine, Thought Catalog, and Rattle Magazine. 

When she is not committed to the pen she is raising two baby dragons and either dancing, singing, or crying to Taylor Swift.
