Born in Turbo, Antioquia, Colombia, there was no money at home, but there was hope and desire. Her parents encouraged her to dream, and she carried that dream across country borders and oceans to start life anew in the United States.

Melissa is a visual storyteller, photographer, and poet who captures the souls of her subjects. She has shot for notable high-fashion brands like Versace and recently had her first billboard in Times Square. She specializes in portraiture, eroticism, and high fashion. Melissa is a voice for Colombians and women everywhere, bringing deep appreciation back for the beauty of the body through her signature style of work.
